The vapor recovery coupler is an essential component of tank truck vapor recovery systems, enabling the safe and efficient capture of fuel vapors during loading and unloading operations. Designed for high flow rates and minimal pressure drop, this coupler helps reduce product loss and speeds up fuel transfer, especially during multi-compartment bottom loading.
Engineered to connect directly to vapor return arms or hoses at the gantry, the coupler activates both valves, on the loading rack and the tanker, when engaged with a compatible vapor adapter, allowing free vapor flow. Its high-flow design ensures efficient vapor return, while integrated features like a self-sealing valve and bottom-mounted drain plug support safe system performance and quick drainage of residual product.
Our vapor recovery coupler is built with a lightweight aluminum body and hardened brass cams for long-lasting wear resistance. It is fully compatible with all API RP1004 vapor adapters, making it a reliable fit across various fuel tanker configurations.
