The oil dip rod, also known as a level gauge stick, is a precision tool used to manually measure the liquid level inside tank trucks. Designed for reliability in fuel logistics, it provides accurate height readings between the tank opening and the liquid surface, helping operators verify remaining volume or confirm full discharge.
Our level gauge sticks are manufactured from EN AW 6063 T66 aluminum with stainless steel brackets and a brass locking mechanism. The laser-engraved millimeter scale ensures permanent, abrasion-resistant markings that remain visible even after long-term use with fuel or chemicals. Available in standard lengths of 0.50 m, 0.60 m, 1.00 m, 1.50 m, 2.00 m, and 3.00 m.
For enhanced accuracy and control, the T-bar dipstick design features a horizontal grip that allows better handling, helps keep the rod vertical during insertion, and reduces vibration, minimizing reading errors in deep tanks, viscous fuels, or hazardous environments.
