    • DESEINOR emergency shut-off valve, also known as an emergency shear valve, is installed at the connection between a fuel dispenser and the submersible turbine pump or fuel-supply line. The valve provides impact-activated and heat-activated shutoff to help limit fuel leakage, fire, and explosion risks at service stations.

    • Impact-activated shutoff: If a fuel dispenser is struck, overturned, or pulled by an external force, the shear section activates and closes the fuel line. This helps prevent a large fuel release if the dispenser piping is damaged or broken.
    • Heat-activated fusible element: A fusible element rated at 71–77°C (165°F) melts when exposed to fire or a rapid rise in ambient temperature, automatically closing the valve and isolating the fuel supply to help prevent fire from spreading.
    • Fast valve closure: The valve closes in less than 0.5 seconds, quickly stopping fuel flow to control leakage risk during an emergency.
    • Low-restriction flow path: The optimized valve core allows normal fuel delivery at more than 120 L/min without creating unnecessary flow restriction, balancing shutoff protection with dispensing efficiency.
