Tank Truck Vents
Emergency Valve Control Handle
The emergency valve control handle is a remote manual control device for the emergency shutoff valve (bottom valve) on fuel tank trucks and oil tankers. Connected to the tank bottom emergency shutoff valve by a control cable, the valve control handle allows the valve to be opened and closed remotely during fuel loading and unloading operations. It is a key safety component for tanker transport.
Features
- Lever-Operated Manual Control
Moving the handle actuates the internal mechanical components and operates the tank bottom emergency shutoff valve through a steel cable, allowing the valve to open or close.
- Automatic Position Locking
When the handle reaches the fully open position, it automatically locks in place, eliminating the need for continuous force to keep the valve open. This provides convenient and reliable operation.
- 75°C Fusible-Alloy Safety Protection
Selected models incorporate a fusible-alloy safety component. When the ambient temperature exceeds 75°C, the fusible alloy melts and the handle automatically returns, simultaneously closing the tank bottom emergency shutoff valve to improve safety in the event of a vehicle fire.
- Compact Design
The compact assembly can be installed on the side or rear of the tanker and is suitable for bottom-valve control systems on fuel tankers and chemical liquid tankers.
