Emergency button valve is designed for fuel and chemical liquid tankers. It is used to remotely control the opening and closing of the emergency shutoff valve at the bottom of the tank and is a commonly used safety component for vehicles transporting hazardous liquids.
During normal fuel loading and unloading, pulling out the red emergency button allows compressed air to enter the bottom valve cylinder, causing the bottom valve to open. In an emergency, such as a collision or pipeline rupture, pressing the red button shuts off the air supply and releases the pressure in the cylinder, allowing the bottom valve to close automatically. This quickly stops fuel transfer and helps reduce the risk of leakage.
